An experimental design in which researchers measure responses at all combinations of the factor levels.
For example, an engineer designs an experiment to compare the fuel efficiency of two car models (a sedan and an SUV), at two speeds (25 mph and 55 mph), and using two types of additive (A and B) on a test track. A full factorial design includes experimental runs at all possible combinations of car model, speed, and additive.

Points in this graph represent the experimental runs in the full factorial design. |
In Minitab, full factorial designs can contain only two-level factors (two-level full factorial design) or contain factors with more than two levels (general full factorial design).
