To do partial least squares regression

1    Choose Stat > Regression > Partial Least Squares.

2    In Responses, enter one or more columns containing the responses (Y).

3    In Model, enter one or more columns containing the model terms (X). See Specifying a model - Partial Least Squares.

4    In Categorical predictors (optional), enter any categorical predictors that you already specified in Model.

5    In Maximum number of components, type a number or leave blank. By default, Minitab extracts or cross-validates 10 components.

6    If you like, use any dialog box options, then click OK.
