Binary Logistic Regression

Minitab displays the following information about the response:

·    Variable: the name of the response variable.

·    Value: the two levels of the binary response.

·    Count: the number of observations at each level of the response.

·    Event: the reference event.

·    Total: the number of nonmissing observations.

Interpretation

For the cereal data, the response name is Bought, the values of the binary response are 1 (bought the cereal) and 0 (did not buy the cereal), 22 adults bought the cereal (1) and 49 adults did not buy the cereal (0), buying the cereal (1) is considered the reference event, and there are 71 observations.
