Minitab displays the following information about the response:

·    Variable - The name of the response variable.

·    Value - The levels of the ordinal response.

·    Count - The number of observations at each level of the response.

·    Reference Event - The reference event.

·    Total - The number of nonmissing observations.

Interpretation

For the horse racing data, the response name is Finish, the values are 1 (first), 8 (last), 7 (seventh), ... , 2 (second), this horse won 22 races (1), finished last 27 times, finished seventh 20 times, ... , and finished second 25 times, finishing first is considered the reference event, and there are 199 observations.
