corner point
A unique combination of factor levels in a 2-level factorial design. For example, in a 2 x 2 factorial examining the effects of thickness and temperature on the breaking point of ice, the combination of high thickness (5) and low temperature (-20) is one of 4 possible corner points (red circle).

Note |
Not all possible corner points must be included in a design. Fractional designs include less than the full number of possible corner points. |
